Please take a look at volunteering a few hours to the NSGA’s 4 Ball Championship.  The tournament will take place     the 6th and 7th of June.  Sign up sheets will be posted in the clubhouse this week.

We are also looking for volunteers to help coordinate Men’s Night, Friday Night 2 Ball and our Club Tournaments.  We will do everything we can to make these positions as simple as possible for the volunteer or volunteers.  Please call me at 765-9305 if you would be interested in working as the coordinator or in a group of people to help us keep these programs growing.

The Spring General Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, 20 May at 7:00 PM in the Golf Club Lounge.  Among issues for discussion will be the plan for number six, as well as any volunteers for vacant club positions, including Men’s Night Director, Friday Night 2-Ball Director and Club Tournament Director.

Just to let everyone know we are now open for drive carts!  Members, you can bring your carts in for storage at any time.

We are busy getting the course and pro shop ready for opening day.  We will be open for walking members only at 0900 on Thursday 10 April .  We will be open for green fee play beginning Friday 11 April. 

Our green fee for the rest of April is $17.50, taxes included.  Come out an enjoy early season golf at the Greenwood Golf Club.  Golf the way it should be… Golf For You.

The winners of the Lobster Draw were Doris Sampson and Jason Park.  They each won 10 pounds of fresh Atlantic Lobster from our friends at Parker’s Cove Lobster in Hillsburn, Annapolis County.  The draw was open to anyone who took out a membership before the 21st of March.  Congratulations Doris and Jason!
