Welcome to the Greenwood Golf Club 2008

Saturday, March 15th, 2008

Well, we’re back to work and in the middle of getting things ready to go for the upcoming golf season.  Karen, Bruce and Sherri put in a lot of hard work last fall and this spring to get the Pro Shop, 19th Hole Lounge and the hallways painted.  We’ve added two flat screen LCD TVs to the lounge, and are working on doing a couple of other things to make it as inviting a place as possible.  Part of Golf For You is offering what you’d expect from your clubhouse, and I think with the updates we’ve made we are well on our way to meeting your expectations.

Ed and Tony have started back to work out on the course.  It has been an awfully cold week for them, but they’ve been working hard on some tree removal and a little clean up after the winter.  The course seems to be in pretty good shape, especially for how long the winter has seemed, so as soon as the weather warms up we should be ready to go for a great 2008, course conditioning wise.  We have a few projects in the works, and we will post more about them in the blog as we get closer to putting them in motion.

Come on out and get your memberships!  We are filling up, with over 100 members registered as of March 14th.  The deadline has passed for making 12 payments, but you can still spread your membership payments out over 11 months with either Military Payroll Deduction or Pre-Authorized Debit.  That means you can be a full member for as little as $49 a month for regular adults, $86 a month for couples and $45 a month for seniors.  Come on out before April 15 and see Karen or Myself to take advantage of these great rates!

That’s all the news for now.  Cross your fingers for some warmer weather, and hopefully we’ll be back playing sooner than later.  Come on out to see us in the meantime, and see how we are changing the Greenwood Golf Club to make it Golf For You!
